FUNDAMENTALS OF ENGINEERING NUMERICAL ANALYSIS WITH SCILAB
The Openeering team has translated from MATLAB® to Scilab all of the examples presented into the Professor Parviz Moin’s renowned book “Fundamentals of Engineering Numerical Analysis”.
“Fundamentals of Engineering Numerical Analysis” introduces students to numerical methods through theory and exercises.
All the students are now free to learn about engineering numerical analysis following the entire book without paying for a commercial software license: download the Scilab examples from the following links:

- Chapters 2 to 6
- Please register to Openeering to access the registered users' area and download the full zip file.
The structure of the Scilab code closely mimics the scheme of the original examples available at the Stanford University website at the following link: http://numerics.stanford.edu/ , with more than 30 exercises organized into six chapters.
Create a Graphical User Interface (GUI) with Scilab
In this tutorial we show how to create a Graphical User Interface (GUI) in Scilab for an ODE problem. The adopted problem is the LHY model already used in other tutorials.
